Non-surgical, or liquid rhinoplasty is a cosmetic procedure that involves reshaping the nose using injectable dermal fillers. This means there are no incisions, no long recovery times, and the entire procedure takes place in about 15 minutes.
Non-surgical nose jobs or liquid rhinoplasty is a technique where hyaluronic acid (a filler) is injected into the nose to modify and sculpt it into a more appealing shape. Hyaluronic acid filler is a sugar that is naturally present throughout the body.
In its synthetic form, hyaluronic acid usually lasts about a year when injected into the nose with the type of product that we use. Although the product is temporary, the injection process can stimulate the formation of new collagen (a scar) that will result in permanent shape changes to the nose. This does not mean that a touch-up is not necessary every year. However, after multiple injection rounds, the shape of the nose will be permanently different than the initial shape.

A mini-rhinoplasty is a hybrid technique performed in less than an hour, usually under local anesthesia. It is a combination of two known techniques :
1. nonsurgical rhinoplasty (hyaluronic acid)
2. surgical alar base reduction (reducing the side of the nostrils)
When performed safely by an expert in our clinic, the risks are minimal, but they exist.
The nose is the highest risk area for complications when injection hyaluronic acid fillers in the face. This is why it needs to be performed by an expert in nasal anatomy, and needs to be performed with small volumes, in a conservative fashion. This is our philosophy to minimize complications like necrosis of the skin or blindness (that are both rare, fortunately). When combined with alar base reductions, a mini-rhinoplasty surgery has the universal (but minimal) risks of scarring, bleeding, infection, and pain. Extremely rarely, an injection in a blood vessel (artery or vein) can happen. This is usually diagnosed during the procedure and we must immediately inject a medication called hyaluronidase to avoid complications like necrosis or blindness.
The main risk of any cosmetic procedure is to be unhappy with the results. The majority of our patients are happy with a non surgical nose job and mini-rhinoplasty. However, and thankfully, in case of dissatisfaction, all nasal injections can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty and mini-rhinoplasty do not cure breathing problems. Treating breathing issues such as a deviated septum involves surgery performed by a board-certified surgeon.
Moreover, injectable fillers cannot correct very severe deviations.
Non-surgical nose jobs can be performed safely in less than 30 minutes.
A mini-rhinoplasty takes less than an hour to perform, even when taking our time and being meticulous.
No anesthesia is necessary for the nonsurgical component. Sometimes we use topical anesthetic cream but this is not necessary in a majority of cases.
For the surgical component, local anesthesia is used (with small injections)
The procedure is well tolerated without major discomfort.
Patients leave the office the same day and can return to their regular activities 24 hours later.
Swelling is minimal and disappears during the first week.
Patients leave the surgical center the same day. When injections have been performed, there are no sutures to remove. With alar base reductions, sutures are removed 5 to 7 days later.
In all cases, daily activities can resume the following day. We recommend waiting a week before intense physical activity.
Rhinoplasty is a highly specialized procedure that needs repetition and experience. It is preferable to choose a surgeon that performs rhinoplasty every week.
Moreover, it is preferable to choose a provider that can recommend if a surgical rhinoplasty is preferable for you. Ideally you need someone that can offer both procedures to give you an unbiased opinion.
Nothing replaces a consultation to determine if you and your surgeon are a good match. The decision to proceed with rhinoplasty should be taken after a proper evaluation by a specialist.

Magnifique clinique ! Très bon personnelle les receptionnistes ,infirmieres et le medecin Dr.Moubayed forme une excellente équipe. A l’écoute de leur clientèle. Si vous desirez confier votre visage a un bon medecin je conseille Dr. Moubayed il est tres gentil, il exerce tres bien son metier, rassurant, a lecoute de vos attentes.Il ma fait une bichectomie et une lipposuccion du cou et du menton, les resultats sont incroyables ,aucune cicatrices, bonne guerison, pas de douleur !
